1) Who I Am
buildwithjuliet is a one-person practice. I build websites for businesses, and I deal with you directly from your first message to launch day.

2) What I Offer
- Starter: a one page website with up to 5 sections.
- Standard: a website with up to 5 pages, a working contact form with spam protection, your colours and logo, and basic search setup.
- Custom: anything bigger, like online ordering, booking or payments. I agree the scope and the price with you in writing before any deposit.
Prices are listed on my website. If launch prices are running, your price is locked once you say yes and pay your deposit before the countdown ends. After that, the normal prices apply.
3) Payment
You pay once to have your website built. There is no monthly fee from me.
After you say yes, I send you an invoice. You pay a deposit to start and the balance when you approve the preview. Payment details appear only on your invoice, never on this website.
4) Timeline
The time to your first preview starts when I have both your deposit and all your details from the form. If something is missing, the time waits for you. Starter is usually 1 to 2 working days to the first preview and Standard 3 to 5 working days. A Custom timeline is agreed with you in writing.
5) Your Domain and Hosting
You buy and renew your own domain name. It is a yearly fee paid to the company you buy it from. Hosting is free on Cloudflare, in your own account.
If you do not have a domain yet, I can buy a .com for you for ₦16,000 or $13, which covers the domain and bank charges. I build your website on it and, once your website is ready, I transfer the domain fully to your own Cloudflare account. If you want a different kind of domain, like .company or .africa, ask me first so we can agree it.
6) Ownership and Access
Your website is yours. It lives in your own Cloudflare account, and you receive the whole website as a zip file, which you can give to any other developer. You also receive a short note about where your domain is registered, where it is hosted and when it renews.
I never ask for your passwords or keys. You invite me to your Cloudflare account, and you can remove me at any time.
7) Credit Line and Portfolio
The footer of your website says "Built by buildwithjuliet" and links to my website. If you would rather not have this, tell me before we start and I will remove it.
Whether or not the credit line stays, I may show your finished website in my portfolio and on my Instagram.
8) Changes After Launch
- For the first 30 days after launch, text, picture, video and link changes are unlimited and free.
- After that, you get 5 change requests every month, free. Each request can hold as many small edits as you need, so please send your corrections together. Unused requests do not roll over.
- An extra request in the same month costs ₦5,000 or $10.
- A new page costs ₦15,000 or $30. New pages are never part of the free changes.
- A redesign is priced like a new website.
- Any error in your website, like a broken link or something not working as it should, is fixed for free, and does not count toward your 5 requests.
9) Refunds
If you pay and change your mind before I have started work, you get a full refund. Once I have started building, the deposit is no longer refundable, and you keep what has been built so far.
10) Your Responsibilities
To build well and on time, I need clear, accurate details about your business and the fastest way to reach you. Photos, logos and brochures are sent to me by email, and videos are shared as links. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send me.
11) Limitation of Liability
Everything I build is provided as-is. I take care to build and test carefully, but I can't guarantee it will be error-free at all times, and I can't promise a specific number of visitors, customers or a Google ranking. To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any issue is limited to the amount you paid me. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or opportunity.
12) Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The terms that applied when you said yes stay in place for your project.
